Congratulations you have your own pilot licence and would like to rent an aircraft from us.

We have to ensure that you are a safe pilot and collect some documentation. This requires that you first complete our Renal Registration Form. We will then reach out for your license, medical and other documentation. You will then be required to undergo a mini PPL check-ride with one of our authorized instructors. Once we put you in touch with your instructor he will provide more details of what to expect. Until our instructors think that you are safe, you will not be authorized to rent our aircraft.

Pre-requisites:

• must have a Current Medical (minimum Category 3) for the flight test
• Minimum 17 years of age (14 for first solo)

Training Requirements:

There are 5 components to a private licence you will need to complete in order to get your licence.

• A minimum of 40 hours of pilot ground school completed
• A pass of the Transport Canada PPAER pilot written exam
• The completion of 45 flight hours (flight experience requirement)
• A pass of the PPL flight test with a Transport Canada examiner

Applicants shall complete a flight test to the standard outlined in the Flight Test Standards by Transport Canada.
